Product Manager, System Surveyor
In 2021, I transferred teams to the the Product team at System Surveyor, a system design platform that provides system integrators, technology directors, and consultants one place to gather site survey information. During my time on the Product team I served as a Product Owner and focused on redesigning the entire product experience. Most notability, I worked on the Mobile team helping design tablet experiences for security professionals all over the world.
A System Design Tool
It was time for a rebuild, and what better way than assembling a UX team.
System Surveyor is a system design platform that provides system integrators, technology directors, and consultants one place to gather site survey information.
In order to deliver a better experience to customers, it was time to rebuild and launch a new generation of the app which mainly focused on improving the usability of the product and underlying app architecture. The aim was to prioritize excellence, agility, and innovation.
The application was not properly developed, at the time lacked usability, a design system and consistent processes to effectively improve or deliver new features. Also the user experience did not meet the needs of an older non-technical demographic.

Objectives
Improve app performance, usability and overall user experience.
Create a design system based on Material 3 Design.
Prioritize designing for mobile first (tablet).
Develop a cross-platform app (Flutter).
